Morocco’s key commercial city, Casablanca, will benefit from a major road project worth nearly US$198 million. The upgrade and maintenance work will be carried out along a 3km stretch of the RR320 expressway in the northern Dar Bouazza area of the city, a road that connects with United Nations Square.
The majority of the funding is being provided jointly by the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Equipment and Water and the Ministry of Land Planning. Some of the funding will also come from the Casablanca-Settat region, the Casablanca Prefectural Council, the Nouaceur Provincial Council, the Casablanca municipality, the Dar Bouazza municipality and the Oulad Azzouz municipality.
