Five key road projects will be carried out in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, with a total estimated cost of US$1.6 billion. The five projects will be completed by 2030 and will be carried out under the build-operate-transfer (BOT) model. The works are being managed by the Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Department of Transport.

One project is for a 9.6km section of National Highway 1 between An Lac and Long An Province. An upgrade will be carried out to National Highway 22 between An Suong interchange and Beltway No 3, a distance of 9km. National Highway 13 will be improved for the 4.6km between Binh Phuoc intersection and Binh Trieu bridge. Widening work will be carried out for a 7.5km stretch of the North-South axis route linking Nguyen Van Linh Street with Ba Chiem bridge intersection. A new bridge will be built at Binh Tien as well as a road linking Pham Van Chi with Nguyen Van Linh.
