Construction of Montenegro’s Bar-Boljare motorway now looks likely to cost substantially more than originally planned. The project was originally budgeted at €80 million however Montenegro’s Ministry of Transport has now revealed that the work will have a pricetag some €15 million greater, totalling €95 million. The Smokovac-Matesevo stretch of the route is supposed to be completed by May 2019 although it is not clear if this can be achieved.
