Romania has given the green light for the construction of the 51km Bacau-Piatra Neamt express road.
The newspaper also noted that the design and construction will be awarded as a single contract, the first of its kind in the country.
Work will include seven bridges, five road interchanges and a maintenance and coordination centre.
Bacau, a city of around 140,000, is 300km north of the capital Bucharest.
