A road development programme worth US$421.3 million will help redevelop Angola’s road network. A funding package worth $94 million will be provided via the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC). In addition, funding will also be provided via Standard Chartered Bank, the Export-Import Bank of the US and the US Private Export Funding Corporation.
The primary EPC contractor will be Conduril while bridges will be supplied by Acrow. Maintenance and resurfacing works will also be carried out in addition to new road construction.
