
The company has opted for Exhaust Gas recirculation (EGR) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology, with an in-house engine and after-treatment management system. All three engines can now be adapted for use outside Europe and North America, in territories where low-sulphur diesel is not readily available. The engines have the same installation dimensions whatever the emissions Stage level, making it easier for OEMs to use the engines in multiple sales markets.
The 9-litre engines are available at 202-294kW, the 13-litre is offered at 257-405kW and the 16-litre engine comes with 405-566kW ratings.
