CEMEX is supplying concrete for the Cameron Bridge, a job that forms part of the reconstruction of the Arizona section of Route 89 in the south-western US.
Spanning nearly 200m, the new bridge includes four lanes for highway traffic, a pedestrian underpass, and other concrete flatwork that is expected to improve traffic flow and road safety.

During this project’s development, CEMEX overcame several operational challenges, including pouring at a height of around 30m, dealing with winter weather shutdowns, as well as fluctuations in the level of the Little Colorado River Gorge.
