Doosan has won orders for 12 new DA30 articulated dump trucks (ADTs) from Ploegam B.V., a civil engineering contractor based in Vinkel in the Netherlands.
Supplied by Lieshout-based S.J. Staadegaard & Zonen B.V., the first six of the new ADTs were ordered for work on a project won by a joint venture of Ploegam and the Van den Biggelaar Group. The other six machines were ordered separately for work on another project subsequently won by Ploegam in Lent. As a result, nine of the trucks have been delivered in Ploegam colours, while the other three bear the colours of Van den Biggelaar.Ploegam is a family run business established in 1987, headed up by brothers, Chris and Gijs Ploegmakers and their sister, Yvonne.
