The Hug, which features a 3m reflective arm, has several options to allow access, including radio control key fobs, visor remotes, keyed switch, and a stainless key pad with adjustable gate timing. The key pad offers from 1 to 999-second gate delay and also millions of codes.
There is also a long-range intercom with a remote control gate opener operated from the office. The American-made HUG uses a 2.5cm (1") solid steel axle shaft on two 1,400kg (3,100lb) rated cast iron roller bearings and an ultra-heavy duty stainless actuator that has a 1,406kg (3,400lb) load capacity - all for a 2.7kg (6lb) arm.
