Rural roads in Nepal will be maintained and upgraded following the provision of a loan worth US$100 million from the Asian Development Bank (ADB). This will be used for Nepal’s Rural Connectivity Improvement Project.
Road connections will be upgraded for 16 districts in five provinces via the Rural Connectivity Improvement Project. The financing will improve 324km of roads, with upgrades including better road safety features and new surfaces.
