Construction work is now underway on a key road project in Vietnam. The work is for the 63km stretch of the Mai Son-National Highway 45 link road. This is being handled in three separate contracts. The road will form part of the Eastern North-South Expressway.
The project is costing US$172.6 million. Work on one section is being carried out by the contractors; Truong Son Construction Corporation, Phuong Thanh Transport Construction and Investment JSC, and Truong Thinh Group. Work on the second stretch is being carried out by the contractors; Hai Thach Construction JSC, Deo Ca Group and Hoang Long Construction Corporation. The third stretch is being handled by the contractors; Xuan Truong Construction Company and Son Hai Group.
