Tunisia is opening the tender process for a new highway project linking capital Tunis with the town of Sbikha lying to the south. The tender is being managed by Tunisia’s Ministry of Equipment, while the necessary funding is being sourced through the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD).
The project will be carried out in four sections. The first 26km stretch runs from Tunis to Zaghouan. The second 7km stretch links Zaghouan with El Fahs. The third stretch is for 27km of road from El Fahs to Nadhour. And the final stretch runs 27km from Nadhour to Sbikha.
