The joint venture Bechtel-Enka partnership will build four highway sections in North Macedonia, following and agreement with the country's government. The four stretches will be for Corridors VIII and X and will have a total budget of €1.3 billion. US firm Bechtel and Turkish company Enka have worked together on a series of road contract across the Balkans Region.
Corridor VIII connects the port of Durres in Albania with Varna Port in Bulgaria. Corridor X connect Salzburg in Austria with Thessaloniki in Greece.
