New Tunisian highway link planned

A new highway link is being planned for Tunisia. The 120km Tunis-El Kef highway project is expected to cost in excess of US$248 million. The project will incorporate a 30km bypass, which will improve transport for the town of Siliana in northern Tunisia. Preliminary studies for the Tunis-El Kef highway project are now being carried out. Meanwhile preparatory studies and regional consultations in El Kef and Siliana have been completed.
