A joint venture partnership has won the contract to build the Mumbai sea link crossing in India. This 17.2km crossing will run between Versova and Bandra and will be constructed by a joint venture comprising Reliance Infrastructure (RInfra) and the Italian contractor, Astaldi. The project is expected to cost US$1.05 billion to construct within a five-year building schedule.
