Bidding is opening for the massive Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge (BCIB) Project in the Philippines. The tender process will be handled by the Department of Public Works and Highway (DPWH).

Four of the six sections are opening for tenders. Bids for two sections of the project on land will open shortly. Bids for the 900m section of the cable-stayed bridge and another stretch of the project will open in the second half of 2024.

The BCIB is also called the Manila Bay Bridge. This will connect Bataan Province and Cavite Province and cross Manila Bay.

According to the Asian Development Bank, the BCIB will be around 32km long, featuring two cable-stayed bridges that span navigation channels. It will have 24km of marine viaducts, and 8km of approach roads. It will also include a U-Turn facility near the Corregidor Island for a future connection.
