Bidding is healthy for the I-77 Interstate highway project in the US state of North Carolina. This 47km highway runs from the city of Charlotte to Mooresville and the contract will be for a 50 year period. Spanish construction companies 917 ACS, 980 OHL and 2717 Ferrovial are all amongst the bidder for the US$501.5 million package, which includes construction, maintenance and. French firm 3085 VINCI Construction has formed a partnership with US companies 3220 Parsons, 4760 Archer Western and 3343 Blythe Construction. ACS has formed a consortium with InfraRed Capital, the investments arm of bank HSBC, as well as ACS's subsidiary 4761 Dragados US and Florence & Hutcheson. OHL Concesiones Is partnering with Lane Construction and 2418 HDR while Ferrovial submitted a bid with its subsidiary 930 Cintra in association with 4763 English Construction and 1493 Louis Berger Group.
